The new MediaCrash site is live!
Well, it’s taken me around 8 months to get the new website ready for launch and I’m pretty excited about it. This new site means taking control of parts of the publishing process that, until now, I was forced to rely on companies like Amazon for.
I hated every second of it. I felt like I was just working for some big corporation and every bit of work that I put into marketing was just going to make some billionaire wealthier.
Having this site in place means that MediaCrash productions generate MediaCrash revenue. My attempt to cut out the middle man will hopefully grow into something worthwhile and, if it doesn’t, at least I made a valiant effort.
We finally have our own shop, where we host the ebooks ourselves and we control the codebase. This new shop can handle both physical and digital products so we can sell stuff like digital downloads of ebooks, music files, apparel, posters & prints and sticker packs. And most importantly, books and comics!
It’s been a long time in the works and I have high hopes for the future of MediaCrash. I’m really looking forward to providing great books, music & comics to underground art fans around the world.
