The conversion is going to remove much of the effect of the typesetting, especially the verse sections and chapter headings. I can&#8217;t imagine how to produce <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Initial\">drop caps<\/a> (those big letters that start each chapter) so that they render correctly. I found an article <a href=\"http:\/\/safalra.com\/web-design\/typography\/css-drop-caps\/\">here<\/a> that discusses using CSS to create the effect, but I&#8217;m not quite sure what CSS tags are supported by the Kindle.
